Denise M. Kuper, Esq.

Founder/Partner

Denise M. Kuper graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism in 1988. She headed west to pursue a career in hotel management. It was during her time working in housekeeping she realized the plight of injured workers. “The housekeepers worked so hard and earned so little. Their families depended on the earnings for minimal subsistence. An on-the-job injury devastates the lives of not just the injured worker, but her whole family. This experience motivated me to become an advocate for their cause.”

Denise graduated Western State University, College of Law, in December of 1993 and passed the California State Bar in June of 1994. Her law firm was founded January 1, 1995. Denise was President of the Harbor Area Chapter of the California Applicant Attorneys Association (CAAA) and a former member of the board of CAAA. She was a founding member of the Long Beach Alive Foundation, a non-profit corporation which focuses on HIV/AIDS health and housing issues.  She served as a Membership Chair of the Long Beach Lambda Democratic Club and was Co-Chair of the 2005 Human Rights Awards Banquet.

Paula S. Wilson, Esq.

Founder/Partner

Paula S. Wilson graduated from Pacific Coast University of School of Law in June of 2010 and passed the California State Bar in November of 2010.

Prior to law school, Paula was in the restaurant industry for 18 years. She was the youngest General Manager in her company. She has extensive human resources and management experience.

In 2005 Paula decided to pursue a legal career and was hired as a legal assistant for the Law Offices of Denise M. Kuper until she became an attorney. Paula’s primary focus is handling workers’ compensation matters.
